Freemover

FREEMOVER students are all guest students studying for a semester or a year at the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb on an individual basis as part of their home university degree and outside of formal exchange agreements/projects.

Freemover students will have to arrange the conditions of their study period like the prerequisites in relevant courses or study programmes, tuition fees etc. with the International Mobility Office.

How to Apply

In order to be accepted, please send us the following documents:

  • Learning Agreement GENERAL (Bilateral, Ceepus, Freemover…)
  • Description of research proposal (for PhD students)
  • A reference letter by a member of your home institution
  • Transcript of Records
  • Proof of Enrolment (signed and stamped by your home university)
  • Proof of English language proficiency – B2 (minimum)
  • Scan of your ID card (both sides) / Passport (first page with the photo and personal data)

 

Important Notes

Freemover students are not entitled to subsidized meals in student restaurants.

Students can apply only for the subject area /field of study which is their major at the home university.

All applicants are kindly requested to respect the APPLICATION DEADLINES, which are as follows:

  • 15 May for the winter semester or the full academic year
  • 15 December for the summer semester

STUDENT RESIDENCE HALLS: Faculty of Law has no capacity of its own but if interested in the Student Residence Hall type of accommodation, please send an inquiry to the Accommodation Unit of the Student Service Centre: petra.sarenic@sczg.hr

Please note that incoming students coming within Erasmus+, CEEPUS and University bilateral agreements have priority for the accommodation.

 

Fees

Freemovers are permitted to participate in courses and examinations, but they need to pay for each course they want to attend. According to the Decision on student participation fees, foreign students at all levels of studies must pay the following amounts:

Enrolment Fee – 39.82 €

Tuition Fee: per ECTS credit i.e. 1 ECTS = 15.93 €
